"brokeback mountain" is on, which means that in about an hour and a half i'll be weeping like a girl. wait...i am a girl. i guess my weeping will be entirely appropriate.
i think i have a very short list of movies that i consider to be great love stories. some have happy endings, some do not. here is the list i have:
• brokeback mountain
• secretary
• punch drunk love
• eternal sunshine of the spotless mind
and i know that there are more, but these are the ones that stick out in my mind. i do have a thing for any movie that pairs katherine hepburn and spencer tracy, also.
10 minutes into this movie and the soundtrack is already making me... melancholy.
(i'm now awaiting the two or more comments that will feature a variation of the phrase "i wish i knew how to quit you...")

Мне жаль, что я не знал, как оставить Вас, товарища
okay joe, this is how that translated:
"To me it is it's a pity, that 4 he did not know, as left you, the comrade."
(what??? did you mean to give me a translation of "i wish i knew how to quit you?)
Me (But I Digress) to World of Warcraft (WoW): I wish I knew how to quit you...
Russian cowboys in love. And your translation thing sucks.
Черт возьми!
eternal sunshine of the spotless mind made me cry for three hours straight.
and i kinda wanted to do jim carrey at the end of it.
and kate winslet too.
great movie.
and on brokeback, when jake gyllenhaal spit on his hand, i don't think i breathed for, like, 5 whole minutes after that.
