my eyes are icky today. and now i can't wear my contacts for a few days. nuts.

the contact lens is a demanding, unforgiving, irrational mistress. if it decides to, it can ruin your evening and send you home early from that big party. it can slash and bite. it can simply drop into the sink and disappear forever. what a bitch. yet once you get involved with the lens, there is no escape. like glenn close's character in 'fatal attraction', the lens simply "...won't be IGNORED!!!"
