tonight=bad movie night. hurrah!
so here's my thing with horror movies. it is total and complete escapism.
i may have utter fucking chaos in my life but I KNOW that i'm not being chased by a nuclear mutant.

i just saw a trailer for "silent hill" in the theater tonight -- and yes, "the hills have eyes" was pretty darn entertaining. some pretty brutal scenes, actually. and we've just returned from the video store with a copy of the original version, so i'll do a little compare/contrast tomorrow.
and as far as feeling foolish, when i first saw "blair witch project" i wasn't entirely certain if their schtick was real or just marketing, so i was fucking terrified.
I don't like being scared, cause I'm a chicken.
